The RiverHouse property is 36.6 acres and occupied by three towers constructed in the late 1950s and early 1960s. Large expanses of surface parking occupy much of the rest of the property. The proposed development seeks to relocate many of the surface parking lots underground between the existing towers and develop 933 apartment units spread across three, six-story buildings. The proposal features 29,900 SF of vibrant street retail in two new buildings across from Pentagon Row to create an active, double-sided pedestrian streetscape along South Joyce Street. The project will also transform passive public space into lively, community gathering space.

An alternative proposal has also been submitted for 966 residential units and no retail.
